I just got this book for my 3rd grader and it has plenty of exercises to keep him busy. When it comes to math, you need a lot of exercises and this book definitely offers that. The book is well organized and covers all the materials required for the 3rd grade Common Core. There are assessments at the end of the book for more practice.My kid also likes this book and this book will offer the extra practice he needs to be good at mathematics. I would definitely recommend this book.

This book is well written and the questions are very clear and challenging. My favorite part of this book is that all the answers are explained at the end of the book. It makes it easy for me to teach my kid how to write explanations for free response questions.

Today received rest of books from this series and once again I can tell that this is not the company you want to use for prep. The idea is good, but implementation is very poor. Why would they put false and misleading information on cover is a question. Number of questions they state is not in place, some teacher recommended and they put it on cover. Very few problems per page. Paper quality is very bad, plus rest of books came wrapped. Totally disappointed.

I purchased the book for 3rd, 4th and 5th grade. For my kids in different age groups, I wanted to give some math worksheets to improve their understanding of mathematical concepts.1. The questions are of high standard and are similar to the questions on the standardized tests.2. There are many word problems to illustrate the application of mathematical concepts3. Workbook is clearly divided into chapters, and the font is acceptable size, along with pictures for some of the word problems, making it easier for the kids to interpret4. Answers for every question is explained in detail at the back of the book. This is a big plus about this bookI don't understand the negative reviews about this book. Better check the book inside & decide for yourself.

Disappointed is just easy said. I was so happy when saw new materials available out there. I am a retired teacher/tutor with 10 years of experience. I tried these books with my students and we found countless number of mistakes. Some books even had print issues, several books were printed up-side-down. I will not use it anymore as it is not what I have expected. Just spent $150 for nothing.

I came across this book in Amazon while searching for a Math workbook for my son.At first, I wasn’t sure about buying a book online without seeing it in a store. But, I’ve to admit that this book blew past all my expectations. When I compare this book with my son’s school curriculum, this book has complete coverage. The math problems are to the point and the solution is easy to understand. My son enjoys doing the exercises in this book. I highly recommend this book for your third grader.

I loved this workbook for my 3rd grader . I feel it’s amazing and has a comprehensive coverage of the 3rd grade math common core curriculum. This is a great workbook to get them ready for the SBAC testing .I was very impressed with the layout of the book , the questions were not cramped and were visually easy to approach .The questions are challenging and help improve my child’s analytical thinking .Totally impressed with this workbook and would be ordering the math workbook for my first grader too.👍👍👍👍👍

My daughter is really liking this workbook. It’s aligned with the 3rd grade curriculum. She gets to practice what she’s learning at school and also touch on subjects that have not been convered in class yet. This should give her an advantage when she gets to that topic in class! I love that these books are designed by a local educator who has first hand experience working with kids in the school district and knowing the relevant curriculum. I look forward to buying a workbook next school year too!

I originally bought this book to help me with learning pharmacology while I was in med school and it was a great help. If you ever studied pharmacology you know how boring those textbooks can be (with the exception of Lippincott's). Well this book is a step apart. It made learning fun and dynamic. The information is current and the funny graphics help you remember key details mechanisms, adverse effects, and interactions for testing. I have also used this book as a reference when I studied for my USMLE step 1 and it helped refresh the subject in a fast efficient way. I highly recommend it to any Med Student.

Another great "Made Rediculously Simple" Book. Explains pharmacology in a way that is easy to compare and remember the information.

Makes studying pharmacology well..ridiculously simple. The book is well organized and makes accessing particular classes of drugs very easy. In addition, the drawings and explanations help concepts to stick. This book shouldn't be used as a primary text for learning pharmacology, but rather as an adjunct. It condenses the bigger picture and makes a nice reference book.

I bought this book after using a friend's copy of "Clinical Anatomy made Ridiculously Simple". I loved the little cartoons and mnemonics for remembering the thousands of new terms in anatomy, and thought this style would be great for another memorization subject like pharmacology. However, this book uses none of those little tricks. It is page after page of tables comparing one drug to another. I already have that in my pharmacology lectures! Don't waste your money on this book.

I wouldn’t describe this as in “very good” condition. There is writing throughout the book. Very disappointing.

The book list drugs in tabels with the occasional paragraph above it trying to explain something. There are practically NO memory aids like in the microbiology series which had pictures and mnemonics etc.. this book it tiny, over priced and a lot of medical school professors have warned against this book

I have been to Tibet and run a charity for Tibetan refugees to which I devote a lot of my time and energy. I found this book to be a very interesting book and also match my experience of Tibet and Tibetans… It is also an important book for what it shows about life in Tibet today. I had borrowed this book from the local library and liked it so much I bought it after reading a good bit of it.

Charlie Carroll is a great storyteller who weaves together his own story of visiting Tibet with that of a native Tibetan who had to flee Tibet when the country was annexed by China. Thus we get to see the country's landscape and suborned politics from both inside and out. Tibet is a tragic case on the world stage, a fact Carroll brings home simply and without pedantry. It's a book that should be read by anyone interested in Tibet or Tibetan Buddhism, or by anyone interested in the doctrine that a lie repeated often enough becomes the truth.

An intense, beautifully written story (actually two stories, and the serendipitous crossing of two paths). It is much more than an interesting account of a recent visit to Tibet, which is what I was expecting. Read it!

A very detailed account of Tibet's struggle for freedom and China's control of a beautiful once independent country.

Really enjoyed the book. I like the way Charlie wove todays travel and Chinese history in Tibet together for an enlightening and educational read.

I have great respect for this author. His passionate yearning for an exotic faraway country has blossomed into an adventure he now shares with his readers, enlightening us about the sufferings and the nobility of Tibetans. The rest of the world needs to know about the struggles of Tibet. I am grateful to have received the message of this powerful, well-written book.

A great read. Two journeys to Tibet - one the author's who has dreamt of going to Tibet since childhood and the other Lobsang's, who had to leave as a child, but returns. The reader learns so much about Tibet, Buddhism, the Chinese occupation and ensuing genocide. Well written, engaging and informative, but never didactic. An important story.

This is an amazing book, full of heart, compassion and insight into life in Tibet since Mao and the “cultural revolution.” "Peaks" parallels the author’s experiences with those of a young Tibetan man’s journey from Tibet to Nepal to India and back to Tibet. It’s a heartfelt yet surprisingly dispassionate telling of their stories, and of the systematic genocide of the Tibetan people and culture by the Chinese. The true story is engaging, compelling and poetically told, an altogether gripping read.

I love this man!! He is very, very talented and I love his work - his music makes me happy. However, I paid over $20 for this book and then added a few bucks for delivery. It is the size of a children's book and can be read in 5 minutes - no joke. If I am going to spend that kind of money I want to be entertained for a few evenings of reading. There are no details of who he is - at all. I wish that Amazon would have allowed me to view more than the title page - when I tried it would not let me get further than that so, in good faith, I bought it and was very disappointed in the short non detailed (children's-like) book and I feel ripped off. Don't bother!!

This is a small biography on Toby. I wish there was more on his life but actually in real life (meaning off the stage) he is a reserved person. I own everything he has put out and I can't wait to find out what is next.

I love Toby Keith but the book is cheesy. No depth. Nothing in it that you can't find on internet. Sorry Toby, still love you.

This book was a total scam from start to end. First of all, it’s basically 20 pages of self published drivel you could learn off Wikipedia. No images, no reviews. The insights are at the level of: “Tacos are good. You should try to eat a taco if you visit Mexico City.”Second, I never actually ordered the book. It just arrived along with the two books I did order, and when I checked on my Orders area, indeed I had been charged for this piece of literature I never ordered.

I wouldn’t even give it a one star if I could. It’s like 20 pages that someone typed up on a typewriter. Horrible. Don’t spend a penny on it, it’s not worth it!

This is not really a guidebook. More of a pamphlet for the price of a book. Very minimal amount of text and information. Save your money and buy a real guidebook from a real publisher.
