Great introductory book for everything geocaching. My son is 11 years old and I felt that this book was basic enough to explain all of the steps in geocaching. He received as a gift and went through the book before he started his actual searches. I recommend this book for children interested in geocaching!

The writing style steers clear of technical, jargony language and is both engaging and clear, which should be helpful for newcomers to the sport. The book also includes many color photos of different kinds of geocaches, travel bugs, and geocoins. Highly recommended!
Easy to read, interesting introduction to the fun of geocaching. It was full of practical information and useful hints. I also felt the author did a superb job of making this feel do-able even to a novice who hasn't hiked in years.
Very basic info for the beginner. Most info available on godfather.com website but really appreciate the authors obvious enthusiasm for the sport. Reinforced what I picked up from the site.
Presents all the info needed to get started bleaching for the fun of it. I wanted and got info about creating a cache that was easy to understand.
It a nice introductory book on geocaching. It has encouraged me to try the sport. Hidden treasures are always exciting to find. I was hoping for more map and compass information. But that's ok. Now I want to read more on the subject.
I am recently new to geocaching and downloaded this book to learn more. This is a small book, and a quick read. It is a good book, but I didn't learn anything that I didn't already know from the web, and so for the price of the book it probably didn't seem worth it.Having said that the author just seems a lovely person. Its one of those books that is written in such a way its like talking to a friend.
Great introduction to geocaching. Basic but good info for the newbie. Didn't see the list of websites that the book promised was at the end. Maybe that's because I was looking at the e-version.
